Cavies, also known as Guinea Pigs, make excellent pets for both young and old! Our focuses never on selling pets, but on developing gorgeous, sound animals to show and enjoy. Update: We are not longer breeding but are very proud of the work we accomplished in Texel cavies in self and himalayan as well as developing the gorgeous Californian texel. Long coated guinea pigs do not shed quite as much as their short haired counterparts but are not for everyone as they require regular bathing and brushing. We have owned and bred cavies for more than 20 years. *Member of American Cavy Breeders Association, American Rabbit Breeders Association and North Carolina Cavy Breeders Association.*
